Working Title: Joe Quesada Reality: From YKTTW

Working Title: Rename Joe Quesada Reality: From YKTTW

Lord TNK: I find it odd that the Joe Quesada Reality page was up less than a day, and someone already made a ykttw post, not just saying the name doesn't fit the trope, but outright demanding it be changed. Sure it's true that the trope name didn't really fit, but with the kind of language used in thatother1dude's post, I'd almost think it was Joe Quesada himself, trying to negate his critics. [Insert Winking Smilie, If This Site Had Smilies]

That Other 1 Dude: Sorry, I'm just sort of tired of names that are a Take That! to some example. Anyway, I saw it because I normally go through the launch list.

Lord TNK: Well just try not to get too worked up about that. Trust me, the stress you build up will outweigh any result you would get. I know.

Zeke: I'm all for the name change, but who the hell is Dan?

Anonymous Person Who Goes By "I Blame Communism": I've removed a reference to HP Lovecraft. Sure, his values can be jarring to the modern reader, but he wasn't writing in modern times. That example also made it sound like anyone using British spellings is rooted in the past somehow. We just spell things that way. Really. We do. And I don't see how Trans-Pondians choosing to use the correct spelling of "colour" makes them this trope.

ROBRAM 89: If we're going to call it Disco Dan, why the hell don't we just call it Disco Stu?

Thnikkafan: My thoughts exactly. Disco Dan has the Added Alliterative Appeal, but it's not as emblematic (or memorable) as Disco Stu.

Dalek: So how should we go about correcting this grave injustice?
