Webcomic Meh
Writing is pretty mediocre. Art is pretty cool and Homestuck-level at times, but music and animation is also pretty bad
Characters don't act like themselves, and more like fan versions. Relationships are soap-opera-like instead of realistic or even like Homestuck.
The plot...I don't know. It seems like an excuse to pull OCs into the story, and badly written OCs at that. One of them is a literal copy of Zuko from Avatar, for example.
I can't recommend reading this. The art is the only redeeming part of this adventure, and the fact that it's been updating for years without pause. It might get better later, but I'm dropping it halfway through.
Webcomic Pretty Good
Characters don't seem to be OOC. The plot isn't as complex as Homestuck, but it still makes you want to know what happens next and has a bunch of it's shenanigans. There seems to be a focus on the slice-of-life aspect, which is obvious considering the posr-game scenario. The FBI agents'personalities caught me off-guard, but somehow seemed pretty natural. They being so random made me remember of how the introduced kids (and trolls) in actual homestuck were very random.
If I can point out something that disappointed me was Liz, the OC. Truth to be told, my hopes fell down once she was introduced, since she didn't seem to be well-made. I was actually happy when I reallized the story didn't focus on her at all, putting her on the sidelines and focusing more on the John X Vriska relationship, the problem with the invading aliens and the interwined plot between Earth, Alternia and how to face their problems.
Overall, a good read that I recommend
