Calling "Thirsty" a bad book would be like saying the Mojave Desert can get a little warm during the summer. The plot is insanely far-fetched, the dialogue so stilted it would embarrass a North Korean propagandist, the characters about as interesting as a taxidermy seminar, and the ending so depressing it makes "1984" seem full of giddy optimism. "Thirsty" accomplishes something few people would dare believe possible— it makes "Twilight" look good.
