There's a lot to talk about this film and if you want a description of what's wrong with it, watch the Sci Fi guy's review. It's preety accurate.
But it's hard for me not to love this film. There's something about the style and tone that's brilliant and how the creep is so creepy.
On top of this the robot is so malicious and sadistic. He's not at all effective, but you can tell he'd getting his kicks from tormenting these people. He's less of a robot and more of a slasher film villain.
So yes, I definitely recommend this film, even with it's flaws.
