FanficRecs Joysweeper's review
I do like seeing couples argue, both of them with legitimate complaints, and manage not to come to blows. This was rather sweet.

FanficRecs Lavanya Six's review
Few fics consider the obstacles a long-term Sokka/Suki relationship would face because of their differing nationalities, cultures and obligations. Fewer still explore those obstacles. This one does, and it does it swimmingly.
FanficRecs Jfmam's Review
This story explores Sokka and Suki's developing relationship after ATLA's finale. Exploring some of the hurdles the two might face in the post-war world, it examines the issues the two would face, coming from very different cultures, while highlighting the real love and respect they share. Both Sokka and Suki feel very much in character, and despite the story's subtitle, the opinions and views of each are respected. Though overall a heartwarming story, potential hurdles are realistically explored, without making either Sokka or Suki unsympathetic. If you love Sokka/Suki, or just a well-written, wholesome romance fanfiction, this story is well worth it.
