As the synopsis says, a more realistic look at Tangled. This story is based on the idea that it’s irresponsible to bank all your hopes on a kidnapped princess being found to run the kingdom. The selected heir decides that Rapunzel might not be a good ruler, having only ever read three books and not understanding politics. A really enjoyable fic, with an interesting look at the characters growing into their roles, and politics applied to fantasy.
