Oh jiminy. This story is very soft, very simple, and it breaks your heart into tiny tiny shards. I think the best part is that it really fits the mood of a Puella Magi story, the hope that gradually gives way to tragedy as reality sets in. And then it ends off on the perfect note. It's really well done and deserves to be read over and over if your heart can take it.
