Similar to Goodness above, this one-shot story takes a good long look at the complex morality of the Anti Villains of Golden Sun - focusing specifically on Menardi, through the eyes of Jenna. The interaction between the two females is very intriguing and unique, and feels very In-Character for Jenna - simultaneously, the fic provides some nice characterisation for Menardi, making her deeper than the fandom-perceived simplicities of 'Saturos's partner' and 'Karst's sister'. Those details - coupled with the author's refusal to sugar-coat the Proxians' (and Alex's) capacity for arrogance and cruelty despite their intentions - makes for a worthy, if quick, read to be found.
