Comments: Focuses on expanding upon the little we know about these characters in the manga/anime, giving them backstories and new challenges while keeping them so in character you 'almost can't believe it's not canon'. Particularly to be praised for avoiding any form of character bashing against other Naruto characters. Unusually for a romance fiction the focus is primarily on character development and fight scenes (the latter of which is has to be said are some of the best described action scenes I've read in fanfiction) with the romance seeming to happen very organically and most of the time taking a backseat to the storyline of political intrigue and general shinobi life and death. There is definately none of the melodrama so normally associated with fanfiction romance.
