Not Just a Spoiler

I don't have much to say about this, but you the reader are either

1. Someone who doesn't know what the twist is. 2. Someone who does.

If your 1, this is your chance, there are reasons why everyone knows the spoilers for Star Wars, Citizen Kane, Harry Potter and Sixth Sense. (Maybe Knights of the Old Republic too) Because they're all class and worth watching and lots of people have watched them and have been impressed enough to keep on talking about then no matter how irritating it gets.

So why aren't you watching it now?

If you're 2 (and lets face it, you're on TV Tropes and looking at the Fight Club page, so you probably are) then I have good news for you, second only to knowing you're forgiven for your sins (Disclaimer: Hyperbole), this movie is still worth watching. Seriously. In fact it's one of those great movies, where after you've watched it unspoiled you want to watch it again to see how it all fits. So you're only disadvantage is you're going to need to give yourself a brain haemorrhage so you've got an excuse to watch it a second time (Disclaimer: Also hyperbole). Half the joy is seeing all the clever references to the twist (except for an annoying part with a car.) and half the joy is watching a fantastic movie and half the joy is experiencing the delicious irony they cut and paste into the film often enough to shatter the forth wall. One and half joys, that's how good this film is.

The humour is dark, the setting is realistic, the theme is thought provoking and the director scorns the people who come into this movie for the violence. Heck the dialogue produced more memes than Portal.

So watch it. At the very worst you'll still be able to write a scathing comment about this review, without feeling like the sort of scumbag who makes comments about reviews for things he hasn't watched :D
