For the first half, I would love for Ryo fight a life-death battle to restore Bagi's intelligence and talking ability and earn back her friendship and forgiveness.
I would love to see more anthropomorphic animals like Bagi in the sequel. And the villains could be Russians trying to claim a 2 million dollars later 250 million bounty on Bagi.
