The author of this fic is an excellent wordsmith; the language is rich and the sentences flow smoothly. Not to say that it's free of typos, there are some, but it's definitely a cut above your average story. (I personally would have liked less of the strong language, but YMMV.) The premise of both Lily and Severus returning, but with him still having lived many years longer than her, puts a fresh twist on the time travel storyline, and I really liked how it properly handled the consequences of the sending-Severus-into-the-Shrieking-Shack incident.
Compared to other Severus/Lily Peggy Sue stories, I found that this one was rather angst-heavy. It emphasised Severus' Occlumency, numbing his own emotions, and his anti-social personality, making it a rough road for the main pairing, though they find their happiness in the end. Definitely not a light and fluffy read, but it's high-quality work.
