Overall a solid, enjoyable fic that goes into each of the characters' perspectives and tries to balance its focus between all of them evenly, which it (mostly) succeeds at.
Requires only a little amount of knowledge about Silent Hill to be enjoyable, though it does reference specific monsters by name or appearance, so I imagine a fan of the series might have a bit more fun reading it.
I had minor issues with the writing style in some places, but there wasn't anything bad enough to make me stop reading. Spells the mercs' accents out phonetically, though.
Regardless, I recommend it for anyone who wants a relatively quick read that focuses mainly on low-key action and bonds between the mercs.
