The plot is great, and the pairing is well paced. The author went to great lengths to avoid the Stations of the Canon and be as original as possible. Based solely on the content of the story, I would certainly recommend it. However, I can't do so in good conscience when the narration of that story is so poorly done. There are lots of typos and grammar issues, redundant sentences, and a need to spell out every little thing. The narration is 100% telling and 0% showing. If you won't be bothered by any of that or at least think you can get through it, I recommend reading it. It was painful for my brain at times, because I'm anal about mechanics in writing, but I still enjoyed reading this a lot. Again, the content is great.
Great story, but horrible writing
