Volume 1 opens with a beautifully drawn cover picture Of Taylor/Onca and her "cat form". We open with a conversation between 3 people who we later find out to be Jason Quinn (Taylor's big brother), Kira Hwang (Taylor's brothers girlfriend), and Richard Reynder (The team leader). The artwork is magnificent. I can go on all day about how nice shot like here look but I won't. This is your basic intro to a story, characters are introduced, plot is setup, Taylor is knocked out by Kria and has her genetic code rewritten to give her the ability to change into a jaguar and control water, and our villein is introduced OR IS IT. Now this is just a short reviews but now its time form person options. The art is like sex for the eyes. the characters look human (something a lot of web comics cant seem to do) and the cat forms look like cat's. When Tay flips out it actually sounds like a 14-15 year old girl that just found out that she has her genetic code rewritten to give her the ability to change into a jaguar and control water would sound.
