Criticisms and other comments.

The author has arguably gotten the feel of a superman story.

The main change was adding Krypton to the worm universe, there are several others which are probably a result of that. For one Andrew Ritcher (the guy who built Dragon) was shown the Capsule that Taylor landed in (we haven't seen the results of this yet). Probably because of Butterflies, Alexandria died to the Siberian instead of Hero.

In addition Martian Manhunter seemed to appear in the story (it is probably him, but we haven't gotten explicit confirmation).

In a previous edit of the trope page one guy called Taylor an Expy (he also spammed weird edits, so make of that what you will). That got me thinking. While I don't know how much of an expy she is, the main character is only ostensibly Taylor. Her character differs a lot from Canon, probably even in comparison to the little we see of Taylor when she is younger in Canon. This is arguably justified though. Regardless of that, her character is closer to a female version of Superman (not Supergirl).

While the story was more character focused, there still has been no meaningful conflict at all making the story look somewhat like a curbstomp fic (it actually has a story though). Taylor was never in any real danger in any of the fights (except *maybe* leviathan).

This made sense until the battle against Leviathan. For whatever reason he/it had durability a lot lower than in Canon. This seemed to be changed so that Taylor could kill him. To me it kind of came across as some sort of downplaying so that one side beats the other. Which is is a common complaint about crossovers in comics.

It could be argued that the popularity of the story is despite some of these things. I don't actually have anyway to determine that though.

I would recommend the fic for the characters (despite any changes from Canon) and the plot, as they are arguably well written .

I would not recommend it for any other facet of the story.
