This fic is very entertaining. Its humour borders on absurd at times, and it stretches the limits of what the characters would do, yet it somehow manages to remain believable. Stylistically, the dialogue is remarkably similar to what one expects from the books themselves. It's easy to imagine the characters saying and doing the things in the books that they are saying and doing here. The fic does a good job of making even the more ridiculous elements of the later Fowl books seem plausible.
