To be honest, I actually liked this game. I have no idea why this one's so hated. I found the graphics to be immersive, the kontrol to be tight and responsive, and each kharacter having their own fighting style. Sure, the story is a little hard to swallow, but the old Mortal Kombats have equally bad plots and yet they don't get this same komplaint.
Maybe this is the weakest of the modern Mortal Kombats, but that's not saying much. This game kicks ass. It rocks. I dare say it kicks the asses of rocks.
By the way, I really hope Reptile's alt costume shows up in MK 9. He looks MUCH better with the tail.
