A long fic, about 130k words, and it's worth every one of them. The romance between Fischer and Eames (and between Arthur and Ariadne) guides the plot rather than dictates it. Croik is a very strong writer and it shows. Reads almost like a sequel to the film and very much has a plot—at no point does the romance take over, and the relationship between Eames and Fischer seems to evolve organically. Can't recommend it more. Overall, a seriously underrated story that will give you the Inception 'fix' you've been missing.
