It all started on 12-06-14. The very first day that humanity saw itself on the brink of an apocalyptic end. Within an hour of the species being this plague's... "plaything", humanity had died off.
It got worse and worse, better strategies being developed. Finally, the parasite... the latest plague... seemed to be quiet. We thought we were safe. We were wrong.
Once the parasite had enough of us... well, it activated its kill switch. A combination of symptoms that would fit a horror novel sprung up and humanity got the bad hand of the deal. We were all dead within a year of the lethal symptoms showing.
