Gotta say, this fic is pretty good. He does try and make the connections between Naruto and the other characters grow naturally, over a long period of time rather than in five minutes, and the pranks Naruto pulls are nothing short of legendary. Some reservations, however: pretty much all the non-named characters are nothing short of villainous, especially the everpresent, unbelievably powerful town council. While some of the abuses do justify themselves within regular canon as well as the canon of this story, it's a bit rich. As well, Naruto smacks a little bit of OP, especially at one point. I won't say where it is and how, but suffice to say, the canon Naruto would have gotten trashed. But these are really very minor gripes, given that most of my hesitation on these points is due to a doubt of the Kyuubi affecting Naruto enough to make him this learned. It's really good, it still updates, and the author, while they had a few narrative stumbles in the beginning, grew into their work fantastically. I would very much recommend this story.
