Synopsis: Sam takes care of Frodo, who is recovering from an illness, while The Gaffer and Bilbo visit a fair in another town. The tables turn somewhat when Sam takes ill himself.
Comments: This is a very sweet friendship fic about Frodo and Sam. It explores some of the tension caused by class differences, and their devotion to one another transcending it (Not slash). It manages to be both humorous and heartbreaking at times, with an incredibly sweet (though maybe a bit sappy) ending. Note to the squeamish: both Frodo and Sam get whipped (moderately, with a switch) as a punishment at one point.
