Games should be challenging because of actual difficulty, not poor design choices

Chantelise is fun, don't get me wrong, but it has more glaring problems than an angry man with no eyelids. For one thing, the targeting system is one of the most flawed I've seen since Wet. The targeting system often locks onto a passing butterfly halfway across the map instead of the skeleton up in your face beating you to a pulp. It's not always clear where the edge of the final boss stage is, and you often pick up stones when you're trying to counter attack. Super Armor and the healing spell help, but the vast amounts of spam as well as these poor design choices make it extremely difficult to get within sword range. Overall, the game feels like a poorly optimized PC port of a PS 1 game.
