I've been bugged by this for weeks, this is an animated short that I think was shown in animax or mtv, and lasts around 5 minutes long. It's shown in between other shows, I think. The animation is pretty realistic.The main character is (im not actually sure) a cat or a human or maybe even a robot, living in a beat down garage or apartment or building. The show is actually pretty violent, the main character usually ends up bloodied. There's one particular episode where the main character gets to invite a date, but on the process of going to his date's building, gets hit by lightning a lot of times. It's actually pretty funny. Sometimes he'd fall down the building while other times he'd get hit by a speeding car or something. I think the animation is pretty similar to Usavich, except the show usually features night time. My memory's still all fuzzy though, sorry for the confusion!
