So I've noticed that under Abandon Shipping, it says that it was "completely reversed" for Catra after her redemption. For starters, this sounds like it's trying to say it was averted/subverted with different words, which can't be done for a YMMV trope. For another, is it even true? Maybe some people did hop back on Catra ships after the redemption, I don't know for sure, but from what I've seen, not everyone was convinced by the redemption, at least not enough for it to be "completely reversed". Should that part be deleted? Or maybe just re-worded?
Edited by Oshawott337 "Let’s see who’s stronger: someone that has something to protect, or someone that has nothing to lose."Does Catra deserve a Base-Breaking Character entry?
To be specific, I've seen some fans say that she was abusive, but I don't know if that's enough for a Base-Breaking Character entry.
Edited by TheOneInRedhorde prime needs to be added tot he complete monster list
Hide / Show RepliesNow that he is should horde-prime be put into the he-man complete monster page since she ra is technically part of that franchise?
Hey Guys, Should the #I Stand With Lesboan Babdook be considered a Meme or Overshadowed By Controversy?
I think that Queen Angela's behavior towards her daughter should be under broken base, not unintentionally sympathetic. Mainly because the fandom is spilt on whether Queen Angella is right about how she treats Glimmer.
Hey Guys I think that Glimmer should be placed under base breaking character. This is because half the fandom absolutely despises her because of her lack of leadership skills and how she treats her friends, while the other half likes her because they can relate to having an overbearing mother.
Just a clarification (and to avoid an unintentional edit war), IMDB has something around 400 reviews as of 11/20/2018 and of those, five of them are less than 18 years old. The others are allegedly adults.
At this point i think the second example in Overshadowed by controversy is actually an example of Broken Base.
Hide / Show RepliesIt's not. The show hasn't even been released yet, and it needs to be out for at least six months before any sort of Broken Base or related audience reaction can be added.
"Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Adora may also viewed as one. Although her backstory supposed to let viewers empathize with her actioms, some of them such as being inconsiderable to others' feelings and intentions, as well as her Control Freak tendencies, are hard to empathize with."
I put it in the YMMV section, but not sure if it's right to put it there, so I move it here for discussion.
I'm very appreciated if you give me some opinion.
