They have always been rewarded the Wooden Spoon Awards because the popularity page only count the ones transformed from Krawk petpets, which are extremely rare and expensive (though weekly rewards cause the prices of them to deflate thankfully), and the ones that were transformed from other neopet species are never counted. However, to my knowledge, a lot of people love them.
