Usually Shinto maidens don’t add all high and mighty because they’re supposed to be connections between humans and gods. What I meant by this example is just how oddly disinterested she acted towards the Kiramagers, even after they fight off the Monstone. Whether that should be a sign that she’s a Human Alien and not Yodonheim is up for debate, but there should’ve been some interest there otherwise. As for deleting the trope, I really don’t care as long as the reasoning is there.
I have an issue with this point:
My counter-arguement is that those earlier moments are still not enough to point to Yodonna being with Yodehelm; at most, it's hinting that she's a Human Alien. Also, there's a moment where Tametomo assumes her harsh up-bringing. I don't really know Shintoism or shrine maidens, but when she speaks as if she's set apart from other humans, it's possible that Tametomo assums that she's raises to believe that she's set apart from them or that she's reincarnated from a goddess or something.
