I added an Alternative Character Interpretation note on Joseph, but there's already something on him under Ron the Death Eater. Thing is, I don't think that's the right trope unless people are ignoring canon to make the character look worse. Is there something specific in canon that makes it clear he was being honest with the PC, or is that just speculation? Because right now it looks to me like there's genuine room for debate.
