Is the addendum about Elisa Lam's death not making sense... appropriate? Not only is it not very related to Harsher in Hindsight (the initial entry was on-topic enough), but the information it claims contradicts the coroner's report is misleading and at times incorrect; it comes across as leaning into misinformed accusations that have already been disputed. Elisa lost her phone before her death, the tank was found open when the maintainance man discovered her body, the fire escape had a ladder that provided access to the roof, and, based on testimony from the people she interacted with the day before her disappearance, there's evidence to suggest she was suffering from a severe episode of mental illness—something of which she had a history—and hadn't been taking the proper medication for it. I don't want to start an edit war, but I really want to make note here that this passage reads to me as accusatory misinformation about a real-life tragic death and I honestly don't think it should be there but I also don't know if I have the right to make that call.
