Acceptable Targets: White people, apparently, judging by the totally superfluous introduction of Eleanor buying a hotel solely to spite the racist employees. Nothing would be missed if this scene was cut from the film.
So, while Acceptable Targets is YMMV, this is plain inaccurate. The writer is conflating "white people" with "racists," in which case I would think it could apply. That said, the second sentence is just untrue. There's a reason the scene is listed as an Establishing Character Moment.
