- How is it that a group of kids that all or most apparently have no parents never feel a need to talk about that?
- This troper personally won't dwell into parents if I made my own series. For example, let's say I own Bleach. If I decided to have the story focus on Ichigo and having his sisters around to accompany him, I'll do just that and just make one mention or two about the parents and leave it at that. Not every films, TV series, video games, cartoon characters, Anime/Manga characters, etc. need parents to drive the plots. We don't even get to know about Leon's or the Redfield parents in the Resident Evil series.
