OK, do people really think that this film is an Even Better Sequel than the first? I think we’ll have to wait at least a month to add this trope and analyze more reception/reviews/consensus than just “Some people/friends/popular reviewers online I know consider it better than the first”. I’m quite sure there are many who don’t find it better than the first or consider this film to be only on the same level as the first. Hell, even some of those popular reviewers don’t consider it to better than the first.

General scuttlebutt is that it's even better looking, and has a much more original plot.

Hop on over to this page and add them.In terms of plot, yes, the general consensus and stuff I've seen online for now is that it is relatively a more original and less generic plot than the first one. But many also don't see it as groundbreaking and some even say it's just as mediocre of a story as the first quality wise despite being less generic.
