  • Artificial Human: Thanks to some negative continuity, some episodes imply Gadget Boy to be this rather than Inspector Gadget in his childhood.
    • In fact, the first episode says that he was given the personality of a "perfect adult detective", implying that he's been programmed with Gadget's personality and intellect rather than just being Gadget when he was younger.

So... do they ever say that he is a younger Gadget? 'Cause that wouldn't seem to make sense with Gadget's origin story either... let alone make any sense in itself (why would a child robot grow up into an adult robot?)

Point being, it's only negative continuity if it actually contradicts itself, rather than just contradicting viewers' assumptions.
