Artificial Human: Thanks to some negative continuity, some episodes imply Gadget Boy to be this rather than Inspector Gadget in his childhood.
In fact, the first episode says that he was given the personality of a "perfect adult detective", implying that he's been programmed with Gadget's personality and intellect rather than just being Gadget when he was younger.
So... do they ever say that he is a younger Gadget? 'Cause that wouldn't seem to make sense with Gadget's origin story either... let alone make any sense in itself (why would a child robot grow up into an adult robot?)
Point being, it's only negative continuity if it actually contradicts itself, rather than just contradicting viewers' assumptions.
