What do y'all think would have made the McQueen's crash even more intense?
The Cars 3 page needs a Radar subfolder/section for, at a minimum, the bootlegging/moonshine references, and the drip pan standing in for either a bed pan or Depends for old people, suggesting incontinence.
Hide / Show RepliesDoes the drip pan thing count as toilet humor as well? Given the context of the scene, it will fit the former more so because all Lightning could do was kick around his tires and look completely uncomfortable.
Edited by WhattheHelvetica3I feel like Junior Johnson's entry in the No Celebrities Were Harmed section should be emphasized more. We're talking about THE Junior Johnson, not just a NASCAR Hall-of-Famer, but possibly it's most iconic character, being of the generation of drivers who got their start and experience in bootlegging. I was basically hero-struck when he showed up in the movie. Go read his Wikipedia entry.
On bitter sweet ending. Lighting Mc Queen's career really took off after Doc Hudson became his mentor and crew chief. I don't think Cruz would have been able to beat Jackson Storm with out Lighting coaching her through it. She almost gave up at the end, but he pointed out to her that she got into his head. If those rookies have half a brain and any sense, the piston cup will be seeing a lot more vetern races as crew chiefs. Who would you rather have watching your back in a race, someone who knew the race track better than you did or someone who had never been out there at all.
