Cut this: He didn't seem to have any problems with cloning Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew at Henry Kissinger's request, however.
Dr. Universe would've cloned Hitler and Lee, had he the material. He didn't have a problem with it because he knew their master plans would fail. The same rationale is almost certainly in play with that last cloning.
