Since the elves continue to be favoured in Book 2, and from the way things are going right now, especially given the information in the last lore tablet, I think the Elven Empire is gonna be restored after all, with Tyril as king and us as his queen (which is why our default name is Raine). I mean, the writers are trying to convince us that the elves are the rightful rulers of the land. If the story really ends as I predicted, can we cry Fantastic Racism?
