I've started a short-term project thread to merge this page with The Phantom Pain's here and if I don't hear from anyone in two weeks I will go ahead and merge the two. If someone does raise objections in the thread I'll hold off until a concensses is reached.

According to Word of God from the latest Kiojima Productions podcast Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain are in the same game, so guess that means merge.

Judging by the newest trailer, it seems like both Ground Zeroes and the Phantom Pain are the same game, should we merge the pages

That same article says they are most likely separate releases. If they are sold separately, have enough content to hold their own as full games individually, and do not overlap significantly in content, they logically cannot be considered the same work. Since the precedent for the MGS series on this wiki is to give separate pages for separate works, to merge these pages would be disorganized, inefficient, and wasteful of work that has been done properly.

I did not do any significant work on either the Ground Zeroes or Phantom Pain pages, but the current practice of keeping them separate is preferable to trashing a viable page over an issue of semantics.

The trailer for The Phantom Pain shows the events from Ground Zeroes, and Word of God is that both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain make up Metal Gear Solid V. I also move to merge the pages.

The YMMV entry concerning the graphics isn't 100% accurate. The Ground Zeroes demo was played on a very up-to-date PC, as was the way with similarly beautiful 'potential next-gen' titles like Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313. All that awesome won't make it to today's consoles. It's still incredible, it just can't perform miracles.

I'm pretty sure the entry is comparing the graphics to that of other games running on high-end P Cs.
