I would just like to say that I've had a ton of fun just throwing a bunch of material on here every now and then. Also forming up the characters page and adding in everyone and myself's extra bits. This is one of my favorite games for the PS 1, and I do wish that it would get more recognition. Definitely a blast.

Always feel free to add more!

I don't want to fill up the page with natter, and I'd rather not just delete all the parts that reference it, since it seems to be an accurate reflection of how a lot of people play the game, but I find all the notes about gold swords being the best, or not using various swords because they're susceptible to rust, pretty ridiculous. Just take the swords off when you're not using them! The slight convenience of not having to take a gold sword off when you're not fighting isn't worth several points of attack power which could mean the difference of having to leave the tower several floors earlier.

By far the strongest weapons in the game are the three elemental swords. They act synergistically with mixture magic of the same element, to the point that attacking a water type monster with a fire sword plus fire magic will do more damage than attacking with a holy sword plus wind magic. Take the elemental sword off when you're not using it, add red sands when you find them, and raise a monster with mixture magic of the same element, and you can reach a point where you can kill any monster in the tower, period, in one hit, while a player using a gold sword would still be struggling.

a Trained Wand can potentially do the same for all three elements, at the cost of four points of starting attack power, but if you put your sword away when you're not using it, by the time you find a Trained wand, you're liable to have a heavily souped-up sword already.

Edited by Desertopa ...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.
