In the article "Five Elements" links to the wikipedia article for the 5 Elements in Japanese Buddhism(Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Sky/Void), but aren't the elements usually seen in Onmyodo the Chinese Elements/Wu Xing/Taoistic Elements (Fire, Water, Metal, Earth, Wood) with their generating and overcoming circles? At least those are the elements commonly used in series like Tokyo Ravens, Shounen Onmyouji and Wagaya no Oinari-sama.
If anyone knows more in depth information on this, would you be willing to share it? I'm writing a fantasy story and one of the witches' style of magic is partially based off of Onmyodo.
