This article is a major Historical Hero Upgrade, with no mention of what a creep he was, sleeping with underage girls in the same bed, and how he estranged his first-born son. It’s odd, to say the least.

Gandhi was upfront about the underage girls and never hid it. And being a bad father to a first-born son (who turned out to be a quasi-gangster) is not really anybody's problem.
