I haven't known true fear in a very, very long time.
I have made several changes to the page, they are; 1. More context, WHY were we in Ireland worse off than the rest of Britain/Europe, because of our geography, lack of tin/coal and poor soil/climate 2. Better explanation as to the penal laws, that they weren't just for Catholics and had been abolished in 1830 3. The fact that to say Britain stopped other countries giving aid is a fallacy, one ambassador asked the Turkish sultan not to embarrass Queen Victoria, hardly the same thing 4, That the Free State had its' own famine in 1925 to put things in perspective.
