I believe that Australian states should have their own dedicated articles like with US States. For example, Victoria and New South Wales have larger populations than the state of Oregon, which has its own dedicated article (even though it's mostly known because of the Oregon Trail computer game).

Um... I can't think of a way to throw into the Victoria section that Melbourne has been deemed the world's most liveable city (Take that Sydney!)
The section on the ACT states that the "sun-ripened warm tomato party" is in power. Is this intended as a joke (the party certainly was, and has never been in power), or should it be corrected?
