This isn't exactly true. First, this doesn't relate to theories in general, but to three specific theories. And those weren't theories about the Ending, but about what the Secret of Monkey Island is. Only one of them directly relates to the ending (Guybrush being a kid and jsut dreaming), one only slighty (there are protals connecting everything), but the third not at all (The Secret is the position).
