These lines were cut from Trivia, as they were just paragraphs of information without any tropes attached to them. I couldn't find anything for them in the History page, either. If someone wants to add these back to the Trivia page, you need to do so with associated Trivia tropes attached to them. TV Tropes is about Tropes in media, not about assorted info on a show.

  • John Gage does more high-altitude rescues than Roy DeSoto because actor Kevin Tighe is somewhat afraid of heights. Randolph Mantooth, on the other hand, wasn't overly fond of spending a lot of time in the water.
  • John's Land Rover was Randolph Mantooth's own vehicle. It and his home in Malibu were both totaled in a rather infamous wildfire in the late 70s. Roy's Porsche apparently also belonged to Kevin Tighe, which makes one wonder how a firefighter in the 1970s could even afford a Porsche.
  • One of the show's engines remained at Yosemite National Park until 2008. Both engines and the squad are now at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum.
  • L.A. County Station 127 provides the exterior for Station 51, and Rampart was played by Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

  • Mike Stoker at one point served under Captain Jim Page, the paramedic program's primary supporter, and the man who was asked to lend his name to John Gage's character, though he refused. Sometimes, Page would sometimes rib Stoker when they ran into each other later by calling him by his old designation, "Patrol 69". (apparently, Stoker remained at 69 after his promotion to engineer, but Page didn't.)

To be clear, both Trivia and past discussions in Ask the Tropers have supported the addition of trivia items which are not tied to specific tropes - just random bits of, well, trivia. So those entries are entirely legitimate, according to the latest ruling I've seen. On the other hand, I think sticking random facts on trivia pages just for the lulz is pointless, so I'm not about to add them back, ruling or no ruling.
