I'll say it again: Ty'veculus was specifically asked who he believed should be eliminated, if anyone; he didn't believe he was the least qualified contestant, and, as Stan had harped on for the whole episode, he answered honestly despite the circumstances. Whatever moral Stan had in mind, the alternative would have been for him to be dishonest. (It's not a perfect analogy for "choosing another over yourself", but no superhero that I'm aware of ever brought in a crook, then chose to stand trial in their place.)
