When Paul showed up. Monarch of the Glen when down hill. His acting and the cast that followed with him ruined my idea of this show. I attempted to watch the last two Episodes in the series but it just made me so sad. To know that this show started so good and so strong and over night it went to Hell in a hand basket.
As a American I watch shows from the UK and Europe with the only hope that I get to see the normal life of everyday people in those countries. I am tired of seeing Americans and others in the shows I digg like "Monarch of the Glen". Please to any director that decides to make a show in the UK or any-other area of Europe PLEASE NO AMERICANS OR OTHERS.
Also on "Monarch of the Glen" I am sick of the complete change of the line up of people. I know this show is off the air but for any aspiring director this might help. Also the story line is always the same. Dumb Paul is bested by some hot native who shows him if he only follows his heart everything will be O.K. what the hell every, if Ewan was on a regular Estate they would have had his butt thrown in Jail. This is the same with all these people on this show. Hey if your going to waste the time making a series why not show it for the normal lives of the people in that Area?
Last thing I hated about the finally episodes of this show. It was about girl power and that was it. When Jess competed in the competition Molly helped her cheat and yet she still won so she could best a group of men. These episodes were written by woman for women to show how they are superior to men. Well to all you people that write this nonsense women are not equal to men. In the physical form woman cannot do what men do not even close.
All I can say is I am glad this show is finally off the air, it lost me after Archie left.
