Alternate timeline? US ruled by a military dictatorship? All text in reverse? This sounded like an awesome episode, but I didn't remember it, so I got the series and watched EVERY episode hoping to see this one, and I did some serious Google-Fu, and my conclusion is that this example does not refer to First Wave but rather to an episode of Seven Days, a roughly contemporary series. The Troper who added this example must have misremembered it, because that definitely does not describe an episode of First Wave.
