  • Informed Wrongness: The Moab IV colonists have a bit of Fantastic Racism towards the crew of the Enterprise for their apparent genetic superiority, but they aren't outwardly arrogant or smug over it, and aside from Benbeck, all of the colonists are shown to be happy, friendly, and well-adjusted individuals. The Enterprise crew are disgusted with them for their usage of eugenics, but everything shown about Moab IV implies their way of life works, and the planet really is as idyllic as they claim. Although the fact that humanity has achieved Utopia without the need for eugenic breeding and planning people's lives out from before birth may color the crew's views on this.

I'm not so sure it's informed to be wrong. The episode brings up a lot of positives and negatives about the colony. Only Picard really seems to firmly state that it's wrong, but I believe even he says that it's only his opinion, and he ultimately regrets the damage he's done to the colony's way of life.
