Is Orson Pink's haircut really a shout-out Neil deGrasse Tyson? I mean, OK, he kinda looks like him, but he also kinda looks like a lot of people. I'd hesitate to put this as a shout-out unless we get some Word of God verification.

Can we do a quotes page for individual episodes, or are they only allowed on the show as a whole one? I've seen this episode quoted a *lot* lately.

We don't do quotes pages for individual episodes. Quotes should go on Quotes.Doctor Who.

Does anyone else really wish that the ending had not involved Clara in such a way? I for one am getting tired of her being the focus of everything in the Doctor's life and history. This could have been a great origin story for the Silence, for instance.

Maybe it's just me though.

Not really. She was basically responsible for giving him an idea and helping his fear of the dark, plus undoing the damage the Great Intelligence did. And who knows, maybe it was. Listen and Silent are spelled with the same letters after all. I always enjoy seeing Clara or the Doctor comfort children. It's incredibly sweet.

For my next trick...anvils.

While we did see the Doctor take the coffee. Do we actually know for sure that he turned off the TV. The caretaker did mention it did seem to turn itself off randomly from time to time. There is nothing actually showing the Doctor turned it off.

No, I think that's a deliberate ambiguous example of it could be the 'hidden monsters' or, just the dodgy TV with a loose connection that switches off randomly.
