Regarding the reset button, this is from a discussion on reddit of the episode: http://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/1d81wm/doctor_who_7x11_journey_to_the_centre_of_the/c9ntue3 Basically it was the control for the magnaclamp that the Doctor took at the beginning of the episode. "Originally" he just threw it through the crack back in time but Clara didn't press it so in the iteration of the loop we saw, the "final" iteration, he went through himself and made sure the button was pressed, disabling the magnaclamp before it could grab the TARDIS and undoing everything. Just putting this here so someone better than me can integrate it.

Thank-you for this explanation. The episode did not make that clear at all.

Regarding the entry under "Ship Tease", where someone asks how River knows the Doctor's name and why that is still unexplained, I thought it was written on the cradle we see during A Good Man Goes to War. Since River has Time Lord DNA, she can read Gallifreian, and thereby knows what his name is. I didn't just make that up in my head right? I'm not sure where to find a source for that, and I'd hate to delete someone's entry based on something I wasn't totally sure on.

It's not clear whether River could read that or not. It's never been confirmed whether Time Lord DNA is all it takes to read Gallifreian or whether you need to actually learn it. It's also never been confirmed what was actually written on that cot.
